I’m a tourist. I always have been. Born in Vermont, then moved to Kansas, Massachusetts, Washington D.C., Germany, Pennsylvania, New York, back to Germany, Rhode Island, Vermont and Colorado. I then studied German in Austria for a year. **At this point I was on my own, so for the rest I have only myself to blame*** After university I moved to Los Angeles, where I started working as a P.A. on commercial shoots. I was a camera assistant, grip, electrician, prop assistant, location scout/manager, production coordinator, all the while hustling and with the help of fellow crew, friends and several credit cards, put a spec reel together and could finally call myself a director. I moved to Montreal, Toronto, got married to a Russian that I met on a shoot in Spain. WE moved back to Los Angeles, Boston, London, Rhode Island and (deep breath)... now we live in Portugal.
I do not work for the CIA, I'm not on the lamb or running from a palimony case. I suffer from chronic tourism.. I love the challenge and excitement of meeting and working with new people, experiencing new places and learning new languages. In addition to moving around quite a bit, I have traveled the globe shooting content for some of the biggest brands, with the most creative ad agencies in the world. I've worked in many markets including the United States, Canada, Germany, UK, France, Switzerland, Italy, Czech Republic, Russia, China and the UAE. I speak German and French fluently. Portuguese and Spanish badly.
